UPDATE
Mrs. Lopez was located on September 25, 2019 in West Valley
division. She has been reunited with her family.

Van Nuys: The family of Maria Lopez and detectives
from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division are
asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Lopez was last seen on September 25, 2019, around 3:00 p.m.,
walking away from the care facility where she resides. The facility
is located on the 15200 block of Sherman Way in Van Nuys.

Lopez is described as a 65-year-old female Hispanic with brown hair
and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black skirt with
horizontal white stripes and blue jeans.

Lopez’s is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and her family is concerned
for her safety. She stands 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs
approximately 170 pounds.
