Van Nuys: The family of Aleksander Dadayan and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.

Aleksander Dadayan was last seen on March 18, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., in the 13800 block of Sherman Way, after telling his wife he was going for a short walk around their residential complex. When he did not return, family members searched the area and discovered that the rental vehicle they were using was also missing.

Mr. Dadayan may be driving a dark gray 2019 Kia Forte, four-door, with California license plate 8LRC726.

Aleksander Dadayan is described as a 78-year-old Armenian male with balding gray hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a beige shirt with an unknown pattern, dark blue jogging pants with a white stripe, and navy tennis shoes.

Mr. Dadayan is diabetic and requires daily insulin injections, which he does not have with him. His condition places him at risk, and his family is concerned for his safety.
