UPDATE
Ms. Fort was found unresponsive on the sidewalk and transported to
a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her family
identified her at the L.A. County Coroner’s Office. The cause of
death was classified as natural.
Los Angeles: The family of Jimmie Fort and detectives from
the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are asking
for the public’s help in locating her.
Jimmie was last seen on September 6, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., at her
residence in the 200 block of South Bonnie Brae Street. Her family
is concerned for her safety.
Jimmie is described as an 88-year-old female Black with gray hair
and black eyes. She stands
5 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. Jimmie was last seen wearing a
light blue gown, one black shoe, and one blue shoe.
