Assuming the role of Commanding Officer of Operations Valley Bureau is Commander Jorge Villegas.  Commander Villegas is no stranger to Operations Valley Bureau, having been assigned there previously as a Commander under Deputy Chief Michel Moore.   For the last two years, Villegas has served as the Assistant to the Director of the Office of Operations, Assistant Chief Earl Paysinger.

Chief Beck stated; “We are looking forward to Commander Villegas’ return to Valley Bureau.  Valley Bureau is a challenging command with a wide variety of communities.  I believe these two assignments will enhance the great work that has been done in both the Valley and Detective Bureaus.”
