Los Angeles: On Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at approximately 1:55 a.m., 33 year-old Rogelio Quintana, and another unidentified male Hispanic were shot to death while parked in the alley in the 400 block of 22nd Street in San Pedro. According to witnesses, unknown suspects approached the victims and fired numerous rounds from an unknown handgun, striking both victims.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at approximately 1:55 a.m., 33 year-old Rogelio Quintana, and another unidentified male Hispanic were shot to death while parked in the alley in the 400 block of 22 Street in San Pedro. According to witnesses, unknown suspects approached the victims and fired numerous rounds from an unknown handgun, striking both victims.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Rogelio Quintana dead at the scene. The unidentified male Hispanic was transported to UCLA Harbor Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his wounds.
The motive for the killings appears to be Robbery. The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
