Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting

Los Angeles: Southwest Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 45 year-old Adrian Emery.
On Saturday, March 29, 2003, at approximately 6:35 p.m., the victim was confronted by unidentified suspect(s) in a parking lot located in the 3500 block of South Western Avenue. According to witnesses, the suspect(s) began to shoot at the victim for no apparent reason. The victim sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics.
The motive for the shooting and the suspect(s) identity have not been established at this time.
