Detectives Investigate Inappropriate Conduct at School NR19129ml

North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s detectives are investigating inappropriate conduct at a elementary school by an employee.

On May 16, 2019, at about 7:45 a.m. Los Angeles Police Department personnel responded to Oxnard Elementary located at the 10900 block of Oxnard Street in North Hollywood to investigate allegations of a male adult, Los Angeles Unified School District employee abusing at least one student at the school.

Detectives met with several individuals and are in the preliminary stages of their investigation.

The nature of the allegations, include inappropriate touching.

The adult male employee has been assigned an administrative assignment pending further investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. The assignment will not have any contact with children.

Several students allege inappropriate conduct by the employee.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division / Sexually Exploited Child Unit, assumed investigative responsibility of this investigation.
