Detectives Looking For Hit And Run Driver

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department, Valley traffic Division Detectives are looking for a Hit and Run suspect who is responsible for the death of 72 year-old victim Robert Meyer, a resident of Northridge.
On February 2, 2004, at about 3:20 p.m., Victim Meyer was in the parking lot of Whole Foods, located on the southeast corner of Tampa Avenue and Rinaldi Street in Porter Ranch. Victim Meyer was struck by a newer model Toyota in the parking lot, which was backing out of a parking stall. The driver of the Toyota stayed for a few minutes, but left the location before the arrival of police.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported Victim Meyer to Holy Cross Medical Center. Victim Meyer died on February 9, 2004, due to the injuries received from the collision.
The suspect was described as a Black woman and has blond or orange/brown hair with hair extension pulled back into a pony tail, which is down to her mid back. She is 29-30 years of age, 5’ 7" to 5"10" tall, 150 to 180 lbs. The suspect’s car was described as a 2000-2003 Toyota Camry, 4-door, tan in color.
