Detectives Request Assistance in Homicide Investigation

On Friday, April 14, 2000, at 3:06am, Devonshire Area officers responded to the 15200 block of Gresham Street to investigate the report of shots being fired. Officers and LAFD Paramedics arrived and discovered a male, who was the victim of a gunshot wound to the upper torso, lying on the southwest corner of Gresham Street and Memory Park Avenue. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No suspects were seen or are in custody and the motive for the shooting has not been established.
