Detectives Return Mobility Scooter to Disabled Citizen NR20267ml

Granada Hills: On August
16, 2020, a disabled resident of a group home reported that his
mobility scooter had been stolen. Within a few days, Devonshire
patrol officers received information linking a suspect to the
stolen scooter and made an arrest for grand theft.

The stolen scooter was not immediately located, detectives
learned that a scooter was booked into property division.

On October 20, 2020, detectives contacted the owner of the
scooter and reunited him with the mobility device. Devonshire
Division is pleased to return this essential transport aid to the
disabled owner. Detective Hawn is seen returning the scooter
below.
