Detectives Seek Additional Sexual Assault Victims NR23194mp

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Juvenile Division’s Abused Child Section is seeking the public’s help to identify additional victims after arresting 29-year-old teacher Martin Reyes, Jr. a resident of East Los Angeles.

On Monday, July 10, 2023, after receiving multiple reports of child molestation by Reyes, LAPD detectives conducted a warrant service and arrested Reyes for 288(a) PC – Lewd Acts w/Child Under 14 Years Old (Booking No 6638613). Reyes’ bail was set at one million dollars ($1,000,000).

The investigation will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations.

Detectives are releasing Reyes’ booking photo because they believe he is responsible for additional, unreported sexual assaults.
