Detectives Seek Homicide Suspect NR23189wm

Beverly Grove: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the death of a 17-year-old male and the injuries to two other victims.

On July 9,2023, around 3:50 a.m., Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an ambulance shooting at 3rd Street and Orlando Avenue. Upon their arrival, they were directed to three victims of a shooting. Victim 1, a 17-year-old male, was declared deceased at scene by Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel. Victim 2, a 17-year-old male, and Victim 3, a 26-year-old male, were transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, by Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel for medical treatment and are in stable condition.

A suspect only described as a male, Black was last seen southbound Orlando Avenue from 3rd Street on foot.
