Devonshire Area Concludes a Four-Month Narcotics Operation in North Hills

A press conference will be held to discuss the specifics of the operation in the North Hills area which led to a number of major drug dealers being arrested. The press conference will be held on Friday, February 26th, at 1:00 P.M. at Devonshire Community Police Station, located at 10250 Etiwanda Street, in Northridge.

On Friday, February 26th, the Drug Enforcement Administration, in conjunction with Los Angeles Police Department’s Narcotics Field Enforcement Section and Devonshire Area’s Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (CRASH) Unit will conclude a four-month operation which targeted drug dealers and their customers in the North Hills Area. The operation has been extremely successful. The combined efforts of the above listed entities have resulted in more than 400 arrests and the incarceration of a number of the major dealers in the North Hills Area. Crime in the North Hills Area has also significantly decreased during the time the operation was in effect.
