Why:
The LAPD, the Hollenbeck Police Business Council, the Hollenbeck Youth Center and the Inner City Games will host the 24th Annual Miracle on First Street toy giveaway this Saturday.
More than 100 Harley Davidsons (Miracle Riders), a convoy of low riders, and a fleet of Hummers will lead the dignitary and celebrity parade down First Street to inaugurate the toy giveaway.  Inner city children will enjoy public safety displays, free cotton candy, music, sporting equipment from Big 5 Sporting Goods and local talent before meeting Santa Claus and receiving the gift of a free toy.
Attendees will include Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Police Chief William Bratton, District Attorney Steve Cooley, LA Lakers star Koby Bryant, actors Tom Arnold and Wayne Brady, writer and producer Sam Simon, and other city officials and celebrities.  Dignitaries will visit the event throughout the day.
