Los Angeles: On Friday, June 7, 2002, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Harbor Area patrol officers responded to the scene of a domestic dispute that occurred in the 1300 block of west 251st street. When the officers arrived they discovered that Niccola Ticzon, a 20 year old resident of Harbor City, had been stabbed and critically wounded. Fire department personnel transported the victim to a local area hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.
Harbor Homicide Detectives responded and conducted a preliminary investigation. They determined that Alapati Manuel Faumuina, the victim’s boyfriend and the father of her two children, had stabbed her during a domestic argument. Faumuina had left the location prior to officers arrival and his whereabouts is unknown. Faumuina is known to frequent the North Long Beach area and was last seen heading in that direction.
