"Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly In Foothill Area"

Foothill – On Sunday, May 7, 2000, at approximately 10:47 AM, Los Angeles Police Officers, assigned to Foothill Division, responded to a "Shots Fired" radio call at 10346 Commerce Ave in Tujunga. Further investigation revealed Robert Lomas; a 62-year-old resident of Tujunga had shot and killed his wife, Sylvia Lomas, a 60-year-old resident of Tujunga. The couple had a verbal dispute prior to the shooting, however the motive for the murder is unknown. Sylvia Lomas succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Robert Lomas was taken into custody without incident.
