West Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, West Traffic Detectives are investigating a double fatal traffic collision.
On Saturday, September 2, 2023, around 6:00 p.m., a Honda Civic was traveling northbound Sepulveda Boulevard at Ohio Avenue when it collided with a BMW i4.
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the driver and passenger of the BMW to a local hospital where both later died from their injuries. The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
It is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor.
The investigation is on-going at this time and the identity of the deceased victims is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
