Drive-By Shooting Leaves One Dead

Los Angeles: Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 24 year old Ignacio Blasco. On September 7, 2003 at approximately 3:50 a.m., Mr. Blasco was seated in his vehicle in the 900 block of Broad Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) drove by in a dark colored vehicle. Several bullets were fired at and struck the victim. He was transported to a local area hospital where he died from the gunshot wounds.
Harbor detectives are investigating the incident and are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 310-548-2835 and after hours at 310-548-7603.
