North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Multi-Disciplinary Collision Investigation Team (MCIT) is investigating a crash that involved an LAPD vehicle.
On May 26, 2025, around 2:10 p.m., a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Cleon was negotiating a left-hand turn onto Saticoy Street. A North Hollywood police vehicle was responding Code-3 to a radio call. The police vehicle was eastbound on Saticoy Street when it collided with vehicle making the left-hand turn.
The driver in the vehicle, which turned from Cleon, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
MCIT personnel completed the at-scene traffic crash investigation.
