D.U.I. Checkpoint to Keep Drivers Law Abiding and Safe

San Fernando Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Division will be conducting a D.U.I. Checkpoint Detail at the intersection of Canoga Avenue and Califa Street in Woodland Hills on Saturday night, December 22, 2001 between 8:00 p.m. and Midnight.
Southbound motorists on Canoga Avenue will be stopped for inspection to check sobriety while driving a vehicle. Drivers operating their motor vehicles while under-the-influence will be arrested and booked for violation of Section 12352 of the California Vehicle Code. Violator licenses will be confiscated and their vehicles will be impounded as indicated by applicable California law. Other driving violations will be cited and motorists may also be arrested and their vehicles impounded as indicated by applicable law and ordinances.
This enforcement activity is part of the Los Angeles Police Department’s heightened Holiday Traffic Awareness Plan.
