Easter Stabbing at Venice Beach Victim Stabbed in “Drum Circle” NR11245lpk

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Pacific Area detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who stabbed a man.

On Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a stabbing occurred at Venice Beach, at Ocean Front Walks and Breeze Court, at a location known as the “Drum Circle.”
The victim was involved in an argument with an unknown male suspect. The argument escalated into a physical altercation and the victim was stabbed.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, dark short cropped hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing between 130-150 pounds, between the age of 24-30 years old, with a large tattoo on his back and a tribal-looking tattoo on his upper right arm.  The suspect was shirtless, wearing a large gold necklace with a cross, and wearing green camouflage pants at the time of the incident.

The above suspect is a person of interest and is wanted for questioning only at this time.
