Elderly Man Dies After Being Stabbed NR19178ti

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect responsible for murder.

On June 20, 2019, around 6:50 a.m., West Valley Area Patrol officers responded to a radio call near the area of Etiwanda Avenue and Kittridge Street, at Reseda Park. Officers arrived at scene and observed the victim laying on a park picnic table bleeding from his abdomen area. The victim stated that he was homeless and was sleeping on a park picnic table when he woke up with severe pain from his abdomen area. He then noticed he had been stabbed and was bleeding.

Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported victim to a local hospital. On June 25, 2019, the victim described as a 64-year-old male Hispanic, from Van Nuys succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
