WHY:
Several of the public service entities within the City of Los Angeles have joined together to educate the community on being prepared in the event of a natural, or man made, disaster. Admission and parking will be free.  Over a dozen informational booths will be manned with participants providing information and educational materials, as well as demonstrations by First Responders, speaking on preparedness topics. The public will have an opportunity to see and explore several of the emergency service vehicles.
