Encino Little League Shed Burglarized $7000 in Equipment Taken NR12129kr

Los Angeles:  West Valley Area Detectives are asking for the public’s help to find the person’s responsible for a burglary in which field maintenance equipment was taken from a little league field shed, negatively impacting the Encino Little League program.  Investigators are also anxious to find the missing equipment.

Sometime between March 16, 2012, 4:00 p.m. and March 19, 2012, 7:45 a.m., a suspect(s) climbed a ladder onto the roof of a storage shed at the little league park and removed an air vent to get inside.   Property taken included field maintenance items; a leaf blower, hedge trimmer, chain saw, weed trimmers, pressure washer and various other tools and equipment needed to maintain the field.

The property taken is valued at over $7000, causing a huge burden on the players and community members who utilize this facility.
