Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the drive-by shooting death of Carlos Raymond Sanchez, a 43-year-old male.

On July 15, 2018, at approximately 10:50 p.m., the victim was riding his bicycle in 1500 block of West 224th Street, when a vehicle with unknown suspect(s) drove by and fired multiple rounds in the victim’s direction, striking him and causing him to fall to the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to render aid; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at scene.

At this time, detectives have very few leads to go on and are asking for the public’s help.
