Fatal Hit and Run Investigation, Reward Offered

Los Angeles: City Councilmember Jan Perry and the Los Angeles City Council have announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a hit and run driver who killed a 21-year-old man.

On Tuesday, October 10,2006, around 8:10 p.m., Lisandro Romero was riding his bicycle northbound near 47th Street when he was struck by a Hit and Run driver. Romero sustained severe head trauma, was transported to California Hospital, where he died eight days later. There were no witnesses, description of the driver, or description of the car at the time of the accident.

The Los Angeles Police Department is asking the public’s help in finding the suspect that killed Romero.
