WHY: On July 8, 2020, around 8:40 pm, the victim Jorge Guerra and his two young children were riding their bicycles northbound on Wadsworth Avenue north of 88th Street. A vehicle driving at a high rate of speed struck them from behind causing Jorge to sustain fatal injuries. The children were not seriously hurt in the collision. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled the location on foot. The suspects’ vehicle, a stolen 1997 Honda Accord was taken into custody.

On October 6, 2020, South Traffic Division Detectives identified 26-year-old Moises Iscaya of Los Angeles, as the driver of the vehicle which killed Mr. Guerra. Iscaya is being held under a $2 Million bail for multiple counts, including murder.
