Northridge: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting death of a man.

On Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12:44 p.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of “Assault of Deadly Weapon Shots Fired” at the 8600 block of Wystone Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37-year old male Hispanic suffering from a gunshot wound in the middle of the street.

The victim was pronounced dead at scene. The victim was not immediately identified pending notification of next of kin. No arrests have been made.
