Arrests and filing announced in Mid-City Shooting that left two men dead and a woman seriously injured.

Detectives served a search warrant on May 3, 2021, and arrested 44-year-old, Gerardo Delcampo in Los Angeles for Accessory to Murder and both firearms and narcotics possession. He was held on two-million dollars bail.

On Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021, the FBI-LAPD Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 32-year-old, Jose Hernandez in Los Angeles. Today, the District Attorney filed one count of murder on Hernandez. He is being held on two million dollars bail.

On Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021, the FBI-LAPD Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 43-year-old, Jobany Villatoro of South Los Angeles. Today the District Attorney filed two counts of murder on Villatoro. He is being held on four million dollars bail.




Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide is investigating a multi-victim shooting from the Mid-City that left two men killed and a third female victim hospitalized.

On May 3, 2021, at about 1:00 a.m., LAPD Wilshire Area officers responded to a call of a shooting in a strip mall at the corner of Crenshaw Boulvard and Washington Boulevard. When officers arrived they found a victim who had suffered gunshot wounds. He was inside of his vehicle and unresponsive.

A second victim was down in the parking lot. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. A third victim was inside of her vehicle. She had suffered a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital and was in stable condition.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and determined the male victims both died at scene.

The identity of the victims is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
