Fatal Traffic Collision

Los Angeles – On June 2, 2000 at 6:50 AM, a fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Fallbrook Avenue and Burbank Boulevard. The collision involved two vehicles, a red, 1988 Toyota Celica, driven by 24 year-old Abdolreza Gostar, who was travelling north bound on Fallbrook Avenue, and a 1996 Chrysler convertible, driven by 52 year-old Mindo Kadkhodazadeh, who was travelling west bound on Burbank Boulevard.

Both parties were injured in the collision. Mr. Kadkhodazdeh was transported to West Hills Hospital, where he died as the result of his injuries. Mr. Gostar was transported to Northridge Hospital and was booked for manslaughter.

Detective Ralph Huerta and Officer Ronald White, Valley Traffic Division, are conducting the investigation.
