" Fatal Traffic Collision Investigation"
 

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, December 25, 2001 at approximately 3:55 a.m., a solo vehicle traffic collision claimed the life of two people.
A black Ford Taurus containing two occupants was traveling westbound on Olympic Boulevard at Rimpau Avenue, at a high rate of speed. The vehicle ran off the roadway, colliding with the curb and a power pole, causing major damage to the vehicle and the power pole.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced both the driver, 44 year-old Myoung-Chin Sin, male Korean, and the passenger, a female Korean, 41 years-old, dead at the scene.
The female passenger’s name is being withheld pending notifications of the next of kin.
