Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Central Burglary Detectives are seeking additional victims of Vandalism in the downtown areas of Los Angeles.
On February 4, 2025, around 3:30 p.m., a protest was being held in front of Los Angeles City Hall, located at the 200 block of North Spring Street. During this time the crowd became unruly and began throwing bottles towards officers at scene. A lawful dispersal order was given, at which point protestors left the location and continued marching on South Broadway. While marching on South Broadway, several individuals began spray painting and vandalizing property—including a UPS truck and a Waymo vehicle. While monitoring the route, officers observed an individual spray-painting buildings. They detained and arrested the suspect.
Antonio Florencio Castillo Duran was arrested for Penal Code 594(B)(1) – Felony Vandalism (Booking No. 6963162) per Los Angeles Couty 2025 Felony Bail schedule, Castillo Duran was
eligible for Book and Release after being booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center. Castillo Duran is described as a 22-year-old male Hispanic. He stands 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and is a resident of La Puente.
