Female Discovered Shot to Death in South L.A. NR14461nv

Los Angeles:  Criminal Gang Homicide Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that might lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the shooting death of a female.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2014, around 4 a.m., 77th Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a robbery in progress in the 6100 block of South Wilton Place.  Upon arrival the officers discovered a female in her early thirties on the front porch of a residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

The Victim did not reside at the residence and has not been identified.

The motive for this murder is unknown.  There is no suspect description at this time.
