Los Angeles: A Grand Theft of a Dog occurred in the 700 Block of C Street, in Wilmington, on April 27, 2022. The owner let her dog out into the front yard and when she went out to check on him a few minutes later, he was missing. The owner checked her security camera video and saw that an unknown Male Hispanic had reached over her fence, picked up her dog, and fled on his skateboard.

Within 24 hours, LAPD Harbor Detectives located and arrested the suspect, but unfortunately, he had already sold the owner’s dog to an unknowing citizen for $20. The suspect had approached the citizen at a hardware store parking lot and told the citizen that he had found the dog but was unable to provide the dog a good home. The citizen did not commit a crime, but the owner is devastated and would appreciate any help in getting her dog returned to her.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area detectives are asking for the public’s assistance for any information leading to the recovery of the French Bulldog, “King”.
