Funeral arrangements for fallen LAPD Hero

Los Angeles – Police Officer Louis Villalobos, who died in a tragic training accident on March 18, 2000, will be remembered by the LAPD and the greater Law Enforcement community on Friday March 23, 2000.

Officer Villalobos was born on May 22, 1947, in Sacramento California. He was appointed to the LAPD on August 10, 1970. In September of 1999, Officer Villalobos was awarded the Department’s highest honor, the Medal of Valor, for his actions in the rescue of an ambushed and mortally wounded police detective.

Officer Villalobos is survived by his daughters, Stephanie, Christina, and Samantha; his son, Jacob; his father, Louis; his mother, Abeline; and his sister, Irene.
