Police Officer Valentin Martinez passed away Friday, July 24, 2020. Officer Martinez passed away due to complications from COVID-19. He is survived by his domestic partner, who is pregnant with twins, his mother, and siblings.

MEDIA INFO:

The family of Officer Martinez will not be providing any media interviews.

Parking for media will be on the street adjacent to the Mosaic Deck. No media parking will be available in the parking lot of the Hall of Liberty.

Spectrum 1 News will be the pool camera for the funeral.

A PIO will be at the location to assist with access. At the request of the family and due to social distancing concerns, additional cameras will not be allowed on the Mosaic Deck during the funeral.
