Gang-Related Shooting Claims Life

Los Angeles: Pacific Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the murder of Kenneth Waller, a 33 year-old male.
On Sunday, March 30, 2003, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Mr. Waller was riding his bike near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Westminster Avenue, in the Oakwood Area of Venice. At some point, unknown suspects drove up to Waller in an unknown type vehicle and shot him several times. Waller was transported to UCLA Medical Center where he died as a result of his wounds.
The motive for this murder appears to be gang-related.
