Gas Station Fatal Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision
North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision that killed a man.
On June 17, 2025, around 5:10 a.m., a dark colored Hummer EV SUV entered a gas station located on Roscoe Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Boulevard and ran over a man laying between two parking stalls. The SUV continued towards the convenience store of the gas station and stopped to pick up a male. The SUV then fled northbound Pendleton Street from Roscoe Boulevard failing to stop, identifying themselves or rendering aid to the victim, as required by law.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the male pedestrian dead at scene.

Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $50,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
