Girl was Robbed of her Gold Necklace NR12457rh

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect who robbed a girl of her gold necklace in the Hollenbeck area.

On September 24, 2012, around 1 p.m., a suspect walked up to the victim and pulled her gold chain from her neck in the area of Cesar Chavez Avenue and Ficket Street.

The suspect was last seen running from the location with the victim’s gold necklace.  Nearby surveillance cameras show the suspect buying a soda minutes prior to the robbery.

Detectives believe the suspect may be responsible for other similar crimes in the area.

The suspect is described as a tall male Black, 20-25 years of age, stands between 6 feet 3 inches and 6 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds.
