WHAT: The grand opening of the new LAPD Pacific Community Center.

WHERE: LAPD Pacific Community Police Station 12312 Culver Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90066

WHO: Los Angeles Councilmember Mike Bonin Vice President of the Los Angeles Police Commission, Steve Soboroff LAPD Deputy Chief Beatrice Girmala, Commanding Officer of West Bureau LAPD Captain III Nicole Alberca, Pacific Area Commanding Officer Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield Residential, Adrian Foley

WHY: The 5,000-square-foot Pacific Division Community Center was made possible by donations, labor, and project management from Brookfield Residential and assistance from dozens of local sponsors. With over 50 workstations, community meeting rooms and a children’s library, the facility will serve as LAPD offices as well as a gathering space for youth programs and community events.
