Every year on Halloween, our neighborhood streets are filled with children trick-or-treating in darkness.  It is important to remind motorists and parents to be aware of children crossing streets and to use extra caution.
The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division, Van Nuys Division and the Los Angeles School Police, will be educating the public and children with traffic safety tips, and giving children reflective trick-or-treat bags imprinted with Halloween traffic safety messages.
