Hit and Run Collision Leaves Victim Seriously Injured NR21280ml

East Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a hit and run collision.

On Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 6:05 a.m., a newer model four door white Mercedes C Class was traveling westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard from El Centro Avenue and collided with the victim who was standing next to a parked vehicle on the north side of Santa Monica Boulevard.

The white Mercedes continued westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard. The victim sustained serious injuries as a result of this collision. The driver of the white Mercedes fled the scene without identifying himself and did not render aid to the victim, as required by law.

The hit and run vehicle, is described as a 2017-2019, 4 door white Mercedes C Class.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit and Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
