Hit and Run Suspect Abandons Vehicle Leaving One Critical

Los Angeles: Central Traffic Detectives is requesting the public assistance in locating 35 year-old Michael Chales Dalise, a resident of Hollywood, who is responsible for a hit in run that left a man critically injured.
On November 1, 2003, at 4:28 a.m., Dalise, who was driving a 1998 Landrover, was traveling southbound on Hyperion Avenue at Glenfeliz Boulevard when he crossed over the double yellow lines and collided head on with the victim. The victim, a 60 year-old male Hispanic, was traveling northbound on Hyperian Avenue in a Ford Explorer when he was struck head on by Dalise. According to eyewitness, Dalise abandoned his vehicle and fled the area on foot. The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Dalise is described as a male White, brown hair, green eyes, approximately 5’10’ and weighs 160 pounds.
