Home Invasion Robbers Stab Woman in Her Home

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Detectives are looking for two Hispanic masked men who broke into a woman’s home in south Los Angeles.

On Sunday, April 23, 2006, at approximately noon, the victim, a female Hispanic in her 30’s was home with her 9-month-old infant son in the 600 block of 84th place. She was cleaning the bathroom when she heard a noise in the front room. When she went into the room, two male Hispanics wearing ski masks confronted her and demanded money. She struggled with the suspects and was stabbed by one of the suspects in her upper torso. The victim then told the suspects where she kept her valuables. The two suspects tied the victim up and fled with $85,000 in cash. The victim was able to free herself after about seven hours and called a relative who then called the Police Department.

The victim was not seriously injured and refused medical treatment. The infant child was unharmed.
