On Thursday, December 2, 1999, at approximately 9:30 A.M., a Home Invasion Robbery occurred in the 5800 block of Topeka Avenue in the City of Tarzana. At the time of the robbery, a female victim was in the residence talking on a telephone. A male Hispanic suspect confronted her and struggled to subdue her while an unknown number of other suspects entered the residence to ransack and take cash and other property. After all the suspects left, the victim called the police at which time she was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries she sustained while being subdued. The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 5’6" tall, 200/220 pounds, in his late twenties. There is no description on the other suspects.
