"Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Apprehended"

North Hills – On June 19, 2000, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Devonshire Area uniformed patrol officers, responded to a radio call of a "Home Invasion Robbery," located in the 10100 block of Gerald Avenue, North Hills. Two suspects had accosted the victim, a male White, near his parked vehicle. Both suspects are described as male, Blacks. One of the suspects was armed with an unknown type handgun. The victim was robbed of his personal property. The suspects then discovered that they were in front of the victim’s residence and forced the victim inside. The suspects then confronted the victim’s roommate and took additional personal property and a vehicle belonging to the roommate.

On June 19, 2000, at 1:15 a.m., Foothill Area uniformed patrol officers conducted a vehicle stop on the stolen vehicle near the inter-section of Glenoaks Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard. The suspect was identified as Danuyel Bryant, 19 years old, resident of Pacoima, he was placed under arrest for 211 P.C., Robbery. Several items of evidence were recovered linking suspect Bryant to the Robbery. Suspect Bryant was booked at Van Nuys Jail, the second suspect remains at large.
