Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 30-year-old man dead.
On June 22, 2022, around 7:00 p.m., Hollywood Patrol Division officers responded to a radio call of a shooting at Argyle Avenue and Selma Avenue. Officers arrived and found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside of his vehicle.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. West Bureau Homicide detectives identified the suspect and a warrant was issued for the arrest of 27-year-old Mario David Ramirez, a resident of La Puente.
On June 23, 2022, at 7:55 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department Fugitive Task Force arrested Ramirez on the 1100 Block of North Hacienda Boulevard in the City of La Puente. Ramirez was booked on a No Bail Murder Warrant (Booking#6404925). This case will be presented for filing consideration at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Monday, June 27, 2022.
