Homicide in Pacific Division NR15872aj

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Pacific area detectives are investigating a fatal shooting of a male victim.

On Saturday, October 31, 2015 around 10:47 a.m., officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 3600 block of Purdue Avenue. When officers arrived, they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

The suspect was taken into custody by officers.

The circumstances and motive of the homicide may have been a result from a dispute. The investigation is still ongoing.
