Homicide Investigation

March 6, 2001

 
Los Angeles – On Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a male Black, in his early twenties was standing on the sidewalk in front of 7309 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Unknown suspect(s) drove by in a small white compact car and fired several rounds in the direction of victim. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his upper torso and died at scene. The suspect(s) were last seen driving southbound Figueroa Street towards 76th Street.
The motive is unknown and the suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
