Homicide Investigation

 
Los Angeles – On Monday, March 26, 2001, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Heriberto M. Salinas, age 25, was seated in his truck at Ramsgate Avenue and Manchester Boulevard. An unidentified male, Hispanic, approached Salinas’ vehicle on foot and fired several rounds into his vehicle, fatally injuring him. The suspect fled Eastbound on Manchester Boulevard in a 1996-1997, 4 door, dark blue, Honda Accord.
The motive is unknown and the suspect and weapon remain outstanding. The investigation reveals that the incident may have been gang related.
